In light of the Coronavirus outbreak we have regrettably decided to postpone all of our Garden of England events until further notice.
We are taking all sensible and necessary precautions to protect not only our competitors but also all our staff who work tirelessly to make these events happen.
We will be sure to reschedule all of our events when it is safe and sensible to do so. We have penciled in, and are hopeful, that we may be able to re-schedule the International Show for the week of the 19th-23rd August 2020 but keep an eye on our Facebook page for regular updates.
Thank you all for your understanding.
The Garden of England Team
Charity class a great success!
The Saturday night of the May International Show saw the charity fundraising class, organised by Issy Le Pla in aid of the Sussex Cancer Fund. Thanks to everyone entries and generosity she managed to raise and incredible £635.56!!
The two charities Issy chose this year were chosen due to the ongoing support that Caroline Stannard has received from them throughout her ongoing treatment. To top it all off it was great to hear that after Caroline's most recent MRI scan, she has been given the all clear.
The money will be split between Sussex Cancer Fund and the Friends of Hurstwood Park.
Team Bodiam Raise over £800 for Cancer Research
As part of the on going effort of the Garden of England team to raise as much money as possible for charities close to us all, a team of 10 ladies in pink took part in the Hastings Race For Life in Alexander Park on the 10th June - raising over £800 for Cancer Research. Dressed in Tutu's, glitter and all things cerise everyone put on their running (or walking) shoes to race the 5k on a sunny Sunday morning and survived to tell the tale....with Jane a Francesca 'running' the last 200 yards to the finish line!
A huge thank you to everyone who generously sponsored us.
