Ferry Bookings

We have been offered preferential rates to travel with P & O Ferries.  We are pleased to be able to extend these rates to competitors from Europe travelling to our shows at Bodiam, but to obtain these rates all bookings will need to be made through our account. 

 

Please contact the Garden of England office (0044 1580 830710) at least 72 hours before travelling to notify us of your vehicle licence plate, make of vehicle, overall length of vehicle, number of passengers and dates you plan to travel to and from the show. You will need to give us your credit card details so that we can pay for your travel at the time of booking - please either phone, fax or email her these details.  We will then send all the information to P & O Ferries who will send us a booking confirmation number.  The confirmation will be forwarded to you to enable you to check in at the Port.

The fares (including 2 passengers) are  : 

• Up to 8.0m           T.B.C

• 8.01m - 13.0m      T.B.C

• 13.01m - 19.0m    T.B.C

All prices exclude fuel surcharge (where applicable) and VAT.

Office Charge: £25 per boking

Vehicles over 2.5m in width are also subject to a width surcharge.

Additional Adult Passengers:: T.B.C per person plus VAT each way.

Dogs: T.B.C per dog VAT each way.

Children 4 - 15 years travel free of charge (must be an immediate dependant of the driver).

Documentation for leaving the UK

  

When the time comes for you to return home from the UK you will need to complete an Export Declaration (Form EXH6) and this can be obtained from the Show Office.

When you leave the UK you will need your Health Certificate (that was issued by your vet before you left your home country) to travel home.  The Health Certificate must be no more than 10 days old.

​

If you are planning on being away from your home country for more than 10 days you will need a new Health Certificate issued in the UK for your departure.  We can arrange this for you but please let the office know at least 10 working days before your planned departure date and please complete this form and return to: Fax: 01580 830186  or Email: office@sterlingquarterhorses.com

Car Hire

    

Anyone wishing to hire a car on arrival can contact the company below. They are on route from the Port to the showground so you can either stop off and collect a vehicle or contact us at the show office and we will arrange to take you there to collect the vehicle.  

 

Prices from £34.95 a day - discount for 7 days or more.
